Semmes FFA is selling
strawberries fresh from Florida! We have a goal of 150 flats and we’re almost
half way there. Your purchase helps cover the costs of state and national dues,
as well as providing educational opportunities for our FFA members, including
travel to Career Development Events and leadership development activities at
the county, district, state, and national levels.
Pricing is as follows:
1 flat (8 qts) $25
½ flat (4 qts) $14
A quart is the same size as the plastic clam packet you
would purchase from the grocery store. These prices are hard to beat! The
strawberries come fresh from Florida, picked straight from the farm and shipped
to us. They will be delivered the week of March 7-10 (we’ll have a more
definite delivery date closer to time). Pick up will be at the MGM Ag Building
or we can arrange delivery.
If you would like to place an order, please email Emily
Dent at edent@mcpss.com, send a text to
251-494-4767, or call the MGM Ag Department at 251-221-3153 ex 46046.
We greatly appreciate your support!

COVID Impact Parent Survey As part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Mobile County Public School System received grant funds to provide support to schools in safely reopening and sustaining safe operations while meeting the academic, social and emotional needs of students resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. We are trying to assess any impacts that the absence of in person learning and COVID-19 may have had on our students. Please give your feedback on the following survey so we may assess your views on the educational, social and emotional needs of our students. Your input is a vital part of our planning process. If you complete this survey by noon on Thursday, November 4, your child may wear jeans to school on Friday, November 5. Please complete one survey per student. Thank you for your time and input. docs.google.com |

Wilmer School Board Appreciation 20-21

Wilmer Elementary School Parents and Guardians,
This is a reminder that Wilmer Elementary School will return to on
campus instruction beginning Monday, January 11th. Buses will run as normal. We
will continue to offer free breakfasts and lunches for our students who do
not return to on campus instruction January 11th. Our cafeteria staff is
preparing hot meals that you may pick up each day, Monday through Friday, between
9 a.m. and 12 p.m. This will include breakfast, lunch and milk and/or
juice for that day.
Wilmer Elementary will continue to be diligent in our efforts to curb the
spread of COVID-19. We will continuously clean and disinfect our campus. We
will continue to wear our masks and maintain social
distancing. Parents, we ask that you monitor your children for any symptoms of
COVID-19, keep them home if they are sick, and let us know if your child tests
positive so we can perform the proper contact tracing.
We look forward to seeing all of our students either on campus or
online Monday morning!
Timothy Dollar
Principal
Wilmer Elementary School
Dear Wilmer
Elementary School Parents and Guardians,
We have good news!
Wilmer Elementary School will offer free breakfasts and lunches for all our
students as we participate in 100 percent remote instruction the week of January 4-8. Our cafeteria staff is
preparing hot meals that you may pick up each day, Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 12

productive week of online learning, and we would like to thank our cafeteria
workers for their efforts in doing so.
